What are the housing grants provided by the county councils?. There are currently three different grants offered by local county councils. These housing grants offer financial help to the older people and people with a disability on various levels. The Housing Aid for People with a Disability grant program offers financial support to help with the execution of works that are deemed to be reasonably necessary to make a home more suitable for a person with a disability. You can apply for funding if you need to create a disabled bathroom for a senior citizen with restricted mobility or a family member with special needs.
